Bates Numbering adds a searchable running number to the pages of the PDF document or documents. With Batch TIFF & PDF Converter, you have the option to add Bates numbers to one or more documents with ease.
Batch TIFF & PDF Converter offers three ways to adding files to the list. First go to the Bates Numbering tab and use either the Load Files or Load Folders option to add files or folders of PDF documents to the list. As with Mac apps, you have the option to drag and drop your PDFs to the File Listing.
The Bates numbers will be applied to all the files on the list in sequence. If the first document has 100 pages and you set the Starting Running Number to 1, the first page of the second document on the list will be stamped with 101.
If the order of the documents are not in the order you want, you can click and hold on the file and move it to the position you want.
If you however want each document to start with its own starting number, prefix or suffix then load one set of PDF document at a time. Once it is processed, clear the list and add the next set of documents.
